I. Mang nghĩa"cùng một lúc"
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- Please press two buttons at one time. (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: Vui lòng ấn hai nút cùng một lúc)
- They are lighting several things at one time. (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: Họ đang chiếu sáng vài thứ cùng một lúc)
- I had three orders of chicken at one time. (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: Tôi đã ăn ba món gà cùng một lúc)
II. Mang nghĩa"vào một thời gian nào đó trong quá khứ, xưa kia"
=If you say that something was the case at one time, you mean that it was the case during a particular period in the past/in the past, but not now

- At one time 400 men, women and children lived in the village.
- ...enormous glaciers, which at one time covered vast areas of the northern hemisphere.
- At one time, that kind of thing would have made me really angry.
