II. Cách dùng phrasal verb: drop off
1. Mang nghĩa"Đỗ ai đó xuống, cho ai đó xuống xe"

- Can you drop the kids off at school this morning?
- A bus station is a structure where city or intercity buses stop to pick up and drop off passengers. (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: Trạm xe buýt là nơi mà xe buýt trong thành phố hay xe buýt liên tỉnh dừng lại đưa và đón hành khách)
- Let's drop off Tom and Jerry at the hamburger joint. Chúng ta thả Tom và Jerry ở tiệm bánh hamburger đi.
2. Mang nghĩa"Đem cái gì đến"

- Is it ok if I drop the documents off later?

3. Mang nghĩa"Xuống, suy giảm"
=If the level of something drops off, it becomes less.

- The daily toll of casualties has dropped off sharply.
4. Mang nghĩa"Ngủ"
=If you drop off to sleep, you go to sleep.
